Who are we?

Whether it’s updating Missouri Southern’s social media platforms, spotlighting the university on billboards and commercials, or writing content for the website, the University Relations & Marketing Department is all about promoting MSSU.

We work to connect with students, faculty, staff and the Joplin community to create a university image that is exciting, memorable and fun.

We solicit feedback from campus and beyond, gauging our university's reputation and making changes as needed to exceed your expectations.

A university is a constantly evolving organism that grows and develops with its students to the beat of the larger world, community and culture surrounding it. We work to create a university atmosphere that is modern, youthful and responsive to change while remaining professional and focused on educational success.
