MSSU to be Open February 21, 2025
Missouri Southern State University will be open on Friday, February 21. Campus roads and sidewalks are generally clear and in good condition.
We understand that road conditions vary across the region, and employees and non-residential students are encouraged to use best judgment on their ability to safely travel to campus.

How to Qualify

Qualify for Project Stay

To qualify for Project Stay, students must:

  1. be United States citizens or permanent residents
  2. have at least a 2.2 cumulative grade point average
  3. and meet one of following qualifications:
  • be a first-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree or higher)
  • meet an income guideline (Please contact the office for more information.)
  • be a student with a disability
  • have an accommodation plan on file with disability services

Students must also be regularly attending classes, completing coursework, and seeking a degree. Students who have already earned a bachelor's degree are not eligible for Project Stay. Applications may be held if the student's enrollment and/or withdrawal history suggests the student cannot graduate in six years.
