Southern Welcome is a new student orientation weekend. Once you are enrolled, make sure to register to attend Southern Welcome. Students and guests will have the opportunity to explore our community and campus, and engage in activities such as pep rally, college success skills seminar, Convocation and Campus Craze. A reservation is required.

MSSU's Southern Kick-Off is a one-day event designed to help you get acquainted with campus and complete your MOSO Passport items before attending Southern Welcome in August. Our goal is to help ease the transition between high school life and your future as a Missouri Southern Lion. This is your opportunity to come get enrolled, tour our vibrant campus, discover housing options, and much more!
