The Recreational Services Department at Missouri Southern State University is committed to providing comprehensive and inviting recreational facilities and programs for students, faculty, staff, and affiliates. Through our quality facilities and programs, members can enjoy the benefits of an active, healthy lifestyle that incorporate a wide variety of recreational, fitness, wellness and leisure opportunities to enhance the wellbeing of the campus and greater community.
Recreational Services is supervised by two fulltime, experienced Directors with certifications in Fitness, Wellness, Aquatics, and Recreation. Due to our commitment to continued education and certifications, we are able to deliver quality services and programming that align with industry standards, balancing engagement, enjoyment, and effectiveness. Recreational Services employs 70+ students with special skills and certifications in the areas of Personal Training, Group Exercise, Aquatics, Intramurals, General Fitness/Wellness, and Red Cross Safety.
