MSSU to be Open February 21, 2025
Missouri Southern State University will be open on Friday, February 21. Campus roads and sidewalks are generally clear and in good condition.
We understand that road conditions vary across the region, and employees and non-residential students are encouraged to use best judgment on their ability to safely travel to campus.

Diploma Replacement/Reorder Request

MSSU contracts with Paradigm to offer replacement diplomas/certificates at the following rates including shipping:

  • Diploma/certificate with domestic standard USPS shipping = $50 (allow 4-6 weeks delivery from when order is approved).
  • Diploma/certificate with domestic UPS ground shipping = $80 (allow 3-4 weeks delivery from when order is approved).
  • Diploma/certificate with international USPS shipping = $70 (allow 6-8 weeks delivery from when order is approved).

The name on the diploma/certificate will be as it was when first issued unless you have provided a legal change of name document. To submit a name change: Name Change

The replacement diploma/certificate will have an additional notation indicating that the diploma/certificate is a replacement. "Degree granted by Missouri Southern State University (College) (date). Replacement Diploma/Certificate issued (date)."

To request a replacement credential, use the link below to provide credential-specific information. Once the request is received, requestors will be notified via email that it has been approved or denied. If the request is approved, Missouri Southern will place an order for that credential.  

Notarized Diploma

If you would like to have your replacement diploma notarized, it will have to be first sent to MSSU to be notarized before sending it to you. Place your order using the “Diploma/certificate with domestic UPS ground shipping = $80” option and use MSSU as the mailing address.

 After the Office of the Registrar receives your diploma, we will notarize it and contact you for your mailing address and send you the notarized diploma. Please allow 4-6 weeks delivery to you, to accommodate the additional time it takes for the diploma to be first delivered to MSSU, have it notarized, and then sent to you.

Digital Credentials Awarded December 2021 through May 2024:

Diplomas for graduates who earned their degrees from December 2021 through May 2024 were delivered through our former third-party processor, Parchment.  Though we are no longer using their services, graduates can still access and retrieve their digital diplomas by logging into their  Parchment account  to retrieve digital diploma(s). There is no fee.
