You may request a replacement diploma/certificate at a cost of $50.00.
The name on the diploma/certificate will be as it was when first issued unless you have provided a legal change of name document. To submit a name change: Name Change
Note also that the replacement diploma/certificate will have an additional notation under the name of the degree indicating that the diploma/certificate is a replacement. The notation will include the following statement, "Degree granted by Missouri Southern State University (College) (date). Replacement Diploma issued (date)."
To request a replacement credential, use the link below to provide credential-specific information. Once the request is received, requestors will be notified via email that it has been approved or denied. If the request is approved, Missouri Southern will place an order for that credential. Please allow 4-6 weeks for standard delivery for specially ordered diplomas/certificates after approval of request.
For those who graduated before December 2021, you may order a digital replacement diploma/certificate at the cost of $20.
If you would like to have your replacement diploma notarized, it will have to be first sent to MSSU to be notarized before sending it to you. In that case, place your order using the Domestic Expedited Shipping Price for an additional charge of $30 and enter MSSU as the mailing address. When the Office of the Registrar receives your diploma, we will notarize it and contact you for your mailing address and send you the notarized diploma. Please allow 4-6 weeks delivery to you, to accommodate the additional time it takes for the diploma to be first delivered to MSSU, have it notarized, and then sent to you.
