All students are eligible for a meal plan. Resident students must choose a meal plan as part of their housing while commuter students have the option to purchase a block plan. Block plan options are as follows:
Plan 25 includes 25 meals and $100.00 Dining Dollars. Price = $305.00
Plan 50 includes 50 meals and $100.00 Dining Dollars. Price = $480.00
Plan 75 includes 75 meals and $150.00 Dining Dollars. Price = $700.00
To purchase a block plan please contact the Bursar's Office. Once used, block plans are non-refundable.
All meals included in the meal plan are used at the Mayes Dining Hall. In addition to these meals, all meal plans include flexible money called Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars can be used at Mayes Dining Hall & Lion's Den.
When dining at the Mayes Dining Hall a meal will be deducted from the meal plan. Resident meal plans are reset weekly on Monday morning. If the weekly allowance of meals is exceeded meals can be purchased as needed. These extra meals can be paid for with the included Dining Dollars, cash or credit card.
Dining Dollars remaining at the end of the fall semester will carry over to the spring semester given the student continues to live on campus. All accounts are reset at the end of the spring semester.
Take a look below. For students with a Meal Plan making purchases at any of the food locations, the Dining Dollars will be used first. If you do not have Dining Dollars, funds will be deducted from Lion Bucks. Purchases from bookstore and other non meal locations will only come from Lion Bucks.
