Missouri Southern strengthens university, community, regional, national, and global ties for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources.

1. Collaboration with community businesses and organizations will build
   reciprocal relationships to promote experiential learning for students and to
   meet professional needs.
2. We will provide and communicate opportunities for intellectual, economic,
   cultural, and social enrichment to the community through experiences,
   entertainment, and sporting events.
3. Global engagement and competence will be strengthened through a global-focused curriculum and extracurricular events.
4. Our brand will become an integral part of our culture and identity.
5. Strong charitable giving, including the Lions Forward campaign, will
   effectively support university priorities and the long-term success of MSSU.
