General                     Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Summer Hours       Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

For after-hours emergencies, contact Mechanical Maintenance at 417-434-1988. 

Work Requests 

Submit a Work Request

Please submit work requests with the above link. This is the preferred method and will expedite and streamline requests.

For Academic building emergencies, please call 417-625-9305. Examples: fire, major water leak, gas smell, no power

Students living on campus: If you have a maintenance need in your room or apartment, please contact your hall staff first.  Residence Life – 417-625-9522 or 417-659-4261 or residencelife@mssu.edu. They can facilitate access to supplies that will provide quick fixes to issues such as clogged toilets or beeping smoke alarms. 

For ADA campus accessibility and/or building access issues, please provide specific details about the access concern.

Key Requests

All office and classroom key requests should be submitted to facility services by filling out a key request form. The forms may be picked up at the Facility Services office window. 

When the key is ready to be picked up by the key holder, that employee will receive an email or phone notification.
