If you need books or articles that Spiva Library does not have, we can request them from another library using a service called InterLibrary Loan (ILL) .
The service is only available to all MSSU students, faculty, alumni, staff and community card holders.
You can make a direct ILL request through our Library Catalog or MOBIUS/OpenRS website if you find the item there. You can learn how to request items on this page.
If you are unable to find a copy of the book you are interested in requesting or are unable to find a copy of the article you are looking for within the search box on our homepage, please fill out a request through the form linked below.
The lending library will determine the due date. Although library users can request a renewal, it is the lending library’s decision to grant or deny a renewal request. Users may keep articles that are photocopies without a due date.
If you are a distance student and are interested in checking out library materials, please contact Access Services at mssulibrary@mssu.edu for more information.
