Reflected in the mission and vision statements, MSSU values student learning and continuous assessment of the effectiveness of its programs. These values are also reflected in our student learning outcomes (SLOs), published in the What You’ll Learn section on each program’s respective website. Curricula are mapped to each program's SLOs, which are assessed through direct and indirect measures, discussed by faculty, and used for data-informed decision making about the teaching and learning processes. Faculty and a campuswide advisory board meet to discuss academic program assessment reports, which are available in WEAVE, our assessment management software.
