For the Fall 2010 cohort, MSSU’s MDHE peer group of 19 institutions has a four-year graduation rate of 16%. For the last decade MSSU has hovered between 11-16% for this retention measure; we have not seen the 16% mark since the Fall 2008 cohort. MSSU would like to perform equal to or slightly higher than its peer group for four-year graduation rate. If first to second year retention rates and four year graduation rates increase, then a six-year graduation rate increase is likely to follow.
