Title IV Licensure/Certification

Title IV Licensure/Certification

Missouri Southern State University’s Teacher Education Program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Professional licensure requirements vary by location; therefore, we are committed to disclosing whether our coursework meets the requirements for each state or territory. As states may change their requirements, MSSU has developed a chart to provide students with program compliance information.

Prior to enrollment, students must complete an attestation form noting they are aware of the requirements for the state in which they live and the state in which they plan to teach. Questions regarding certification or completion of the attestation form should be directed to the Teacher Education Department Chair.
