The newly completed 85,000 sq ft Health Sciences Building delivers cutting-edge training facilities for health care professionals, proudly funded through the Lewis & Clark Discovery Initiative.
It houses a variety of programs including:

- Simulation Center for Interdisciplinary Clinical Education (SCICE)
- Located on the third floor, SCICE replicates a hospital environment with advanced human-patient simulators—enabling immersive, interdisciplinary clinical education.

- A state-of-the-art simulation hospital featuring acute care, emergency, labor & delivery units, NICU, and even a model ambulance—all designed to mimic real hospital settings.
- Expanded cadaver lab and anatomy & physiology teaching labs for hands-on training.
- Radiologic technology lab with CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray suites.
- Virtual reality clinical training center for immersive simulation-based learning.
- Collaborative research labs, aimed at fostering partnerships, including one with Kansas City University – Joplin.
- A welcoming Campus Welcome Center situated within, serving as the new “front door” to campus for prospective students and families.
