MSSU to be Open February 21, 2025
Missouri Southern State University will be open on Friday, February 21. Campus roads and sidewalks are generally clear and in good condition.
We understand that road conditions vary across the region, and employees and non-residential students are encouraged to use best judgment on their ability to safely travel to campus.

WHO CAN ATTEND YOUR ACADEMY? 

We are open to the general public. 

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION? 

We are open from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, year-round. For closure dates, please see our school calendar. 

WHAT ARE THE AGES OF CHILDREN YOU ACCEPT? 

We accept children 1-6 years old. 

ARE YOU LICENSED? 

Yes, we are licensed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) – Please add this link to the underlined text: https://dese.mo.gov/ 

WHAT MEALS DO YOU SERVE? 

We serve breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. 

All our meals meet USDA standards and are served by our campus food provider.

DO YOU ACCEPT ASSISTANCE? 

We accept Missouri and Kansas Department of Social Services, NACCRRA Military Assistance, and Native American Tribal Assistance. 

MAY I USE MY UNIVERSITY FINANCIAL AID TO PAY FOR MY CHILD’S TUITION? 

Yes, if you are a student at MSSU, we can draw from MSSU's financial aid to pay for your child’s tuition.
