Welcome to the 28th year of Children’s Lifetime Sports Academy!
The goal of Children’s Lifetime Sports Academy is to teach skills and to promote the application of selected lifetime activities. These activities can be played for fun, health, and fitness throughout life.
Participants will receive instruction in selected lifetime activities, including but not limited to: Rhythmic Activities, Martial Arts, Bowling, Golf, Frisbee, Racquet Sports, Fishing, Archery, and Canoeing. We offer an optional free swim time daily.
Children’s Lifetime Sports Academy is coordinated by the Department of Kinesiology. Staff will include University students majoring in the Department of Kinesiology. Other volunteers include current and former faculty and staff, past Kinesiology graduates, the Missouri Department of Conservation, and various professionals from the community.
A fee of $125 per child includes instruction, use of facilities and equipment, insurance, a T-Shirt, and a lifetime of memories!
