The deadline for application is March 31 of each year. Send all your information at one time; it would be advisable to send your application packet via certified mail. You will be notified by middle of April as to the status of your application.

All incoming dental hygiene students will be required to have a medical consultation with a representative from the Willcoxon Health Center in the Spring they are accepted. This private and personal consultation will help answer questions about what medical records will be needed, or need to be in process of, prior to orientation.
Applicants who have received acceptance letters MUST review the Applicant Acceptance of Position Criteria. A formal letter of acceptance along with the orientation charge must be submitted to the department to be admitted to the program.
All dental hygiene students are required to undergo a physical examination and meet the physical and mental abilities required to achieve the clinical objectives; undergo a dental examination, must read and sign the Communicable Disease Policy , complete the necessary immunizations, maintain current CPR articulation at the Health Care Provider level and carry malpractice and health insurance. Random drug and alcohol testing and criminal background check will be performed before admittance into the program at your expense.
