Prospective dual credit faculty

Process to become a MSSU Dual Credit instructor:

1. Contact the Academic Outreach Director to begin conversation.
2. Submit unofficial Master’s transcripts to Academic Outreach director
3. Upon receipt of unofficial Master’s transcripts, Academic Outreach initiate a conversation with the appropriate academic department.
   1. Approvals- a search will be opened in Clear Company where the instructor will submit materials
   2. Denials- notifications will be sent to applicant and any parties

Benefits & Resources of dual credit instructors

As with all MSSU adjunct faculty members, High School Dual Credit Instructors will have access to MSSU resources in order to support and/or enhance the college educational experience. 

Specifically, High School Dual Credit Instructors will:

• be issued a faculty/staff ID (Lion Card);
• have access to LioNet (University portal);
• be issued an MSSU faculty email account;
• have access to George A. Spiva Library;
• enjoy free admission to on-campus sporting events and performing arts events that are free to MSSU faculty/staff;
• enjoy a 10% discount on regular priced apparel and imprinted gifts at the MSSU Bookstore with use of the Lion Card;
• option to purchase a Beimdiek Recreation Center membership at the discounted cost ($15/month).
