The Engineering Technology Department offers extensive laboratory facilities to support each program with equipment, instrumentation, and test facilities directly related to each field of specialization.
Our computer labs are state of the art teaching facilities utilizing the current versions of software from Autocad, Inventor, Mastercam, Minitab, Design Expert, Microsoft Office for Windows 10, MS Project, MS Visio. The department has the ability to develop design prototypes using a 3D prototyping printers for verification of class or industrial design concepts.
Our manufacturing labs have the following equipment:
Manual lathes, vertical mills, drill presses, bandsaw, bench grinders, electric furnace, CNC mills, CNC Control Simulators (Lathe and Mill), industrial robots, robotic training systems, PLCs, Process Level Controller, and Hydraulic Training Modules.
Our materials testing lab has the following equipment:
Zwick Impact Tester, Instron Universal Testing machines, Rockwell Manual Hardness Testers, Rockwell Digital Hardness Tester, Leco Microhardness Tester, Plastics Melt Indexer, Olympus Metallurgical Microscope, and various material preparation equipment including a metallurgical saw, diamond saw, grinder/polishing system, and mounting press.
Our electronics lab has the following equipment:
Power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
