Alumni, faculty, staff, and current students joined supporters at a dinner on Homecoming weekend 2019 to celebrate 35 years of television at Missouri Southern.
The evening included the presentation of the Outstanding TV Alumni Award. KGSC started recognizing alumni in 2014, with plans to honor outstanding graduates every five yeas.
The dinner also featured a look at some of the programming at the station over the past 35 years. Selected programs from past years may be seen as part of the "KGCS Rewind" series, airing on the station and posted on the station YouTube site.
