Missouri Shakespeare Festival aims to offer the plays of William Shakespeare in productions that are insightful, exciting, and entertaining. In other words, we are not mounting a museum display but are, rather, seeking to bring these plays to our community with vitality and currency.
Shakespeare's plays are as entertaining and as relevant as they ever were. Across the nation people of all ages respond to Shakespeare's clever plots, engaging characters, and timeless themes. We hope to become an annual event that will draw people to our area and so take our place among the region's cultural offerings.
