Missouri Southern State University’s Law Enforcement Academy program is accredited by the Missouri Department of Public Safety’s Police Officer Standards and Training (POST). Professional licensure requirements vary by state; therefore, we are committed to disclosing whether we meet the requirements for each state or territory. As states may change their requirements, MSSU has developed a chart to provide students with program compliance information.
Prior to enrollment, students must complete an attestation form noting they are aware of the requirements for the state in which they live and the state in which they plan to practice. Questions regarding licensure and certification or completion of the attestation form should be directed to the Law Enforcement Academy Director.
