With just over a million people, Odessa is Ukraine’s fourth-largest city and a major tourism center, seaport, and transportation hub on the Black Sea. Odessa National Maritime University (ONMU) is a versatile educational institution, preparing graduates at the bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist levels. ONMU has seven faculties (departments), including Economics/Management and Preparatory Courses for International Students (Ukrainian and Russian languages, mathematics, physics, chemistry, drawing, computer sciences).
