2016 The Great Britain Semester

Missouri Southern will celebrate the Great Britain Semester in Fall 2016 – the 20th themed semester since the program began in 1997 with the China Semester.

The Great Britain Semester features something for everyone – music, culture, films,GB2016logo.png current events, history – even Jack the Ripper! Starting with the British Invasion and ending with a two-day visit by author Charles Finch, the 40-plus events are guaranteed to make you an Anglophile.

Eight MSSU faculty members are making presentations, ranging from medieval manuscripts to Great Britain's exit from the European Union. Five guest speakers will also make valuable contributions to the programming, along with four performances from the MSSU Music Department.
